Hi, I am using Redhat Linux 9 and configured it as Samba sever.When I tried to open files on windows network an error message is coming like "Cannot open files in Samba locations, you can copy those files and try to open in the linux machine". Why is it like that? Can you offer any ways to change this? Hi Everybody I am facing problem with samba server and windows 2000 domain. Iam trying to add my samba server to windows 2000 domain and got succeded. and i configured the smb.conf for security=domain and given password server as domain controller FQDN. but when iam trying to access the samba server. iam getting the error, authentication failed.
