(System Verification Engineer )* *Location:* *Valencia, CA * *Duration:* *18 months (Possible Extension) No OPT Minimum 8+ Years of Experience * *Job Description: * Independently or as member of a team; Engineer will be responsible to analyze system specifications, support integration, develop test methods and drive system level/software/firmware verification activities. Responsibilities include working with cross functional teams on new product development and sustaining projects. *Duties and Responsibilities:* • Participates on project teams to develop clear system specifications, feasibility plans and reports and system integration tests. • Analyze system and software/firmware requirements to determine testability, completeness and consistency. • Design Test cases, Test Strategies and Test Procedures to evaluate the behavior of the software/firmware as compared to the specified requirements. • Develop automated test scripts using PHP • Support automated and semi-automated test execution • Perform design acceptance testing • Perform ripple analysis to analyze changes • Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques as they relate to Software Testing. • Providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. • Support regulatory submissions of specifications, test plans, and reports . Works under general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
