SD T-Top Bags?

2005-08-22 Thread colwell82
well after searching what was left in my parents house after their house fire,
and my car, and the barn we stored everything in, my T-Top bags have come up
missing. My fiancie asked if she could make some new ones up for me, maybe
make them a little more personal with a logo or initials or something on them.
My question is, has anyone tried this before? I know they weren't anything
real special, but they seem to sell for quite a bit on ebay and even the list.
Any ideas for improvements on the current design? Anyone know where we might
find some directions or should we just measure and test fit?
Thanks for any comments!

Measure and sew. Just make sure to use a soft lining so it doesn't scratch
the glass.

Subject: FS - '91 Spirit R/T -50k miles, white, with fresh motor!

'91 Spirit R/T, white, 50k miles. Has ABS, power seat and Infinity.
Crank windows and manual locks. AC converted to 134, blows cold. I have
the original window sticker and plenty of receipts, some dating from the
previous owners.

Drivetrain
-recently rebuilt T-III with 2k miles
block cleaned, deck and align bore checked, fresh hone, cleaned pistons,
resized rods,
-New rings, rod/main bearings, Intermediate shaft bearings, oil pump, all
gaskets/seals, ARP main studs and belts (including timing belt)
-removed balance shafts and used proper non balance shaft common block
oil pan
-Head freshened with valve job, new valve seals, decked, titanium valve
spring retainers installed. Center core plug has been welded
-stock turbo w/braided steel lines
-dual Tbird core intercooler and custom piping and 1g talon bov. Looks
almost factory.
-Walbro 255 high pressure pump, new fuel filter all new fuel lines
-+20 injectors w/Accufab AFPR
- poly front motor mount, new side mount, new trans mount, MP bobble
strut

-stock A568 with new clutch (stock)

Suspension
- CSX springs (sits about 1 lower, rides very nice and handles much
better), New MP struts
-new ball joints
-poly sway bar and control arm bushings
-currently has white 16 pumpers with new Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires (mint
original white snowflakes go with car)

Body:
-Interior near perfect. Extremely clean
-White paint flaking in some spots, paint touched up as necessary. Looks
good, but could certainly use paint to be show car
-3 exhaust with high flow cat, straight through bullet muffler behind
cat and Ultraflow out back. Nice sound, not overly loud at all
-30/30 boost guage and EGT guage mounted in custom bezel in console.
Door closes to complete hide them for the stock look. Dawes A/F guage in
ashtray (also closes for stock look)

I bought the car without a drivetrain in it, body had 45k miles on it. I
put the drivetrain from the my old R/T in it and raced it some last year.
Over the winter, I finished rebuilding a stock drivetrain for it to use
it as a driver and be able to cart my kids around in, which is what I had
been doing until recently when my plans changed. Besides, a low mileage,
100% rust free white R/T probably deserves better than to commute in stop
and go traffic everyday to my office. It's a very nice car and with the
set up thats in it, it looks bone stock, you can drive it anywhere and
will probably blast low to mid 13 second passes on slicks as she
currently sits.

Car is located in Rockville, MD which is about 10 miles northwest of
Washington DC. Pictures can be seen on Ralph Scott's site here:

Asking price is $6500.

Feel free to email with any questions or if you'd like additional
pictures.
