Re: SD> Chrysler Daytona IROC R/T ?'s
There's a Chrysler Daytona IROC R/T in the Ontario Auto Trader right now for $7500.00 CDN.Looks to be well taken care of. SD> WTB:LeBaron GTC
Still no luck finding any GTC's for sale so I thought I would try my luck again on here,so here goes.I'm lookin for an '89 or newer LeBaron GTC.Any year is fine so long as its a turbo car.I prefer coupes,5 speeds and common block 2.2's(T-II or VNT) but I would be more than happy to consider a convertible, auto or a common block T-I car.The more options the better.I have or parts trades or a combination of the two. I'm located in Southern Ontario and will travel up to 4 hours for a nice car. Frank ---REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING Questions? SD> '91 V6-'89 T-II swap
Hey all, I found a '91 GTC coupe with low,low miles, perfect original paint and body and other than a saggy headliner,a perfect interior for a really good price. The problem is that the car is a V6 and I want it to be a turbo. Can anyone offer any insight on how best to handle the electronics aspect of an engine swap.I have an '89 service manual with all the wiring diagrams in it and I'm sure that I'll need a manual with the '91 electronics. Is this a difficult job to splice in the '89 engine bay harness? I have several '89 T-II harnesses that are complete from the engine bay all the way to taillights. Can I maybe just swap in one of these harnesses, dash and all? Thanks. Re: SD> WTB:LeBaron GTC
Sorry everyone.I guess I should have mentioned where I'm located.I'm getting a few great responses, unfortunately, alot of them are from over 1000 miles away or more.I'm in Southern Ontario, about 30 minutes north of the U.S./Can border.Anything within about 300 miles of there would be prefered. Thanks again. SD> WTB:LeBaron GTC
Looking to buy an '89 or later LeBaron GTC.I prefer T-II's,coupe's and 5 speeds but will consider anything. It must be free of heavy rust and it must be turbo.I've already got 2 projects so I only want nice drivers and would prefer something that is stock to use as daily summer transportation. The more options the better.I'm located in Southern Ontario and I'll drive any reasonable distance for the right car.Thanks. SD> Turbo-Dodge wanted
Hey all, I'm looking for a replacement for my '87 Shelby Z.I killed a piston recently and have decided to turn this car into a project.I have a diesel dually thats a pain in the butt to use as a daily driver because of its size,so naturally,I've decided to look for something just to buzz around in thats easy to park and more fun to drive.I'll consider any L-body,any '88 and later Daytona, any '89 and later LeBaron (2 door only) or any '88 and later Shadow. The car must be in driveable condition, must be able to pass emissions, must be Turbo, must be a 5 speed and have very little if any rust.I'll consider automatics as a last resort. I have cash but I also have a sizeable stockpile of L-body and G-body parts as well as trannies, motors, intercoolers, turbos, harnesses, etc for trade if interested. I live in Southern Ontario and will travel up to 2 hours from Hamilton Ontario for a decent car.Thanks. Frank ---REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING Questions? SD> Can I use "G" head in Place of swirl head?
On a long trip out in the middle of nowhere I blew a rad hose without realizing it and overheated my motor. The botom end seems to have survived but the cylinder head is severely distorted (ya gotta see it...its hideous!).The car is an '87 T-II Shelby Z with stock electronics and the motor is a stock common block T-II out of an '89 Daytona Shelby, G-valved to 14 psi. My question is:Can I use a "G" casting head out of an '85 Shelby Charger in place of the swirl head with no ill effects?I ask this because I have a newly rebuilt "G" casting just sitting and I need this car back up and running ASAP.Also, can I use the roller cam, followers and lifters out of the swirl head in the "G" head or should I stick to the slider? Any quick replies would be greatly appreciated.Thanks. Frank ---REMOVE-FOOTER-WHEN-REPLYING Questions? Visit http://www.sdml.org/ To be removed, visit http://www.sdml.org/pages/leave.html
