What form do you use to mix with Silver to put in the eyes? Is there a liquid form of MSM? I have used Silver drops in my eyes. It works very well. The more infection I have the more it stings, but not for long. Thank you, KAthy in GA -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver. My dog is recently diagnosed with glaucoma. Not one to take a conventional diagnosis, and having read in some of my alternative books that glaucoma can be from infection, would you have an idea what drops are used for this? I read this recently on a list but cannot remember which list. I am desparate to find a solution. The vet kept remarking how her symptoms did not fit glaucoma BUT. Re: CS>Eye Solution Treatment for dogs
Hi Pat, I was wondering what the solution was you used, the ratio of MSM to CS for pink eye, etc., for you and your kids? Re: CS>Eye Solution Treatment for dogs
Dear Brooks, I've been using such a solution (MSM/CS) for years mostly on myself and the kids. When they were younger and if I thought they were getting a touch of pink eye, in went the drops to both eyes and the next morning the reddness was usually gone. Something I find very interesting is the fact that one of my customers who raises exotic cats uses just a straight mixture of MSM in the kittens' eyes if trouble seems to be brewing. I've suggested maybe the combo of MSM/Silver but they're content with the plain MSM. I can see the plain CS working great but it always amazes me how the MSM allows the body to heal itself. Pardon. Correction to error in former post. Comment on CS strength, should have read 5-to10 ppm.not %. Chagrined. Brooks Bradley. -- MZ¡ --- Begin Message --- To all interested list members. Recently, our resident "experimenter" developed a simple irrigation solution for use in EXPERIMENTS in research adressing persistant, sub-clinical, eye infections and abrasions in dogs. This solution is composed of approximately 1/2 teaspoon of MSM granulated crystals dissolved in 2 ounces of distilled water. A measure of this parent solution is diluted, 50%, using an equal measure of 5 to 10% Colloidal Silver solution. This solution has been used "free choice" in flooding the eyes for irrigation and residual pathogenic protection. Interestingly, it has proven superior to ALL OTHER substances evaluted FOR THIS PURPOSE, including standard eye-washes reinforced with a variety of antibiotics, off-the-shelfand prescription eye ointments containing a variety of antibiotics and bacteriostatics. This solution has proven very effective on our EXPERIMENTAL animals, for mitigating against ancillary infections and viral invasions of the ocular environment. So impressed have I become, I use it twice daily, as a prophylactic treatment for controlling excessive "mattering" that occasionally manifests. It works great-for me. I am aware this is not an earth-shattering revelation, but possibly one that might make life a little more enjoyable for some of your PETS. Sincerely. Brooks Bradley. --- End Message ---
