CS>Pregnancy/Cancer Epidemiology

2007-08-13 Thread Jonathan B. Britten

List,

Busy, so i'll try to be short-winded.

A few years ago a friend lost his wife (both in their early 30's) to
metastatic stomach cancer gone to the liver, shortly after she gave
birth to her first child.

A month ago a similar situation happened to another couple, this time
colon cancer. In both cases symptoms and diagnosis came just a few
months after delivery of the first child.

The first woman was given six months to live; that was very accurate.
The second woman has even less time.

In the current case my fiend asked relatives in the USA for research
help, and he promptly received a long NYT article, recently written,
about a woman -- wait for it -- in her 30's, diagnosed with colon
cancer metastasized to the liver, a few months after giving birth to
her first child.

On this list the question of whether EIS is dangerous for pregnant
women and their unborn children has appeared. I don't know. I do
know, from one friend's research, that pregnancy involves a general
immune suppression to prevent miscarriage. On that basis, one wonders
whether EIS might be very important to pregnant women, if it is
harmless to the embryo/fetus.

Food for thought, and possibly a PhD dissertation for someone in the
medical field. Maybe even some big money for someone interested in
that, who knows? My intuition is that an inexpensive EIS generator
could save a large number of children from losing their mothers soon
after birth. . .

My daughter freely drank CS all through her pregnancy,
started giving CS to her son right after he was born
(1/4 tsn at the start), gave him CS every day the
whole 3 years he's been alive.

An ounce or two/day while pregnant wards off sickness
and infection.

LOL, if my husband carried that child I'd have been the happiest woman on earth!

Hi Wayne, was the CS taken during the whole pregnancy?

Sort of. About 8ppm every two weeks at 8oz in the beginning trimester and
prior. Got lazy because I was pretty alkaline (and throwing up from eating
stuff that did not agree with my gestational diabetes that hadn't been
diagnosed yet). When I was NOT alkaline I miscarried.

Not taking cs from month 4? to month 7 1/2? kicked me in the butt because I got
a virus that felt like it was setting up shop in my lungs. Pleased I was not.
I started drinking it again at 30 weeks and used the vicks ultrasonic
humidifier we happened to have on hand that was mentioned on this list. Got
rid of it post haste. I wish I would have taken cs all the way through. My
son was healthy, (he was born one day away from 38 weeks). He'll be two months
old June 7th.

He's STILL healthy (just refused the hep b vaccination at the doc today). I
haven't had to clear his nose with the snot sucker (don't know the accurate
term in my tiredness) once.

I wonder, does anyone know if cs goes through breastmilk?

She generally only takes it when needed. Odd thing is, that she takes
more than I do, and I take it daily. I guess an ounce of prevention IS
worth a pound of cure.

Dear Jean,

  You said:

CS is quite gentle. Antibiotics would be far more likely to have a
negative impact on a fetus than CS. But I think I'd use it only when
needed. That's pretty much my philosophy on CS usage anyway. I would also
be sure to use CS that is of a higher quality and has the facts to back up
the quality.

Catherine

Hello Leacy,

When you use CS there is no reason for harm to you or your baby. But use CS
only for fighting off foreign invaders like bacteria, fungi, and so on that
make you ill or out of balance. Don't use CS as a tonic to booster your
strength or something. It might be that too much silver accumulates and
stocks in the body and may hamper when new invasions must be fought. And
foreign materials that stock in your body may stock in your baby's body as
well but not necessarily in equal proportions so be carefull with the things
you consume.
All the best to you and your to-be-born.

CS>pregnancy and CS

2000-04-19 Thread Fred

I am trying to get pregnant. Has anyone ever taken or know of any reason why
I should not take CS if I am trying to conceive or if I do get pregnant. I
take it now for a low immune system and I would really like to keep on taking
it. It cured my acute bronchitis without my regular high dose of antibiotics.

Thanks,
Diane

Check the wonderful story on my site where a customer, who
had been baron for years, not only got pregnant after using Cs
but also found a doctor who suggested she continue the use!

She got a little long winded, so not pasting it here!

You wrote:

< Can CS be taken during pregnancy?>

Strange to say, the maternal immune surveillance system still
regards the foetus
as non-self in the first trimester or the first three months of
pregnancy after
fertilization. Therefore, it is prudent for the mother-to-be to go easy
on immune boosters or immune stimulants in the first three months of
pregnacy. This is mainly to
offset any enhanced effect of the maternal immune system on the product
of conception, which may cause its spontaneous expulsion.

Colloidal Silver has been known for its enhancing effect on the
immune system. Its ante-natal use, therefore, should be critically
cogitated in the first trimester of
pregnancy.
