If you have them in the bottom of the artist folder , maybe it's doable to remove images from these folders and also load up these tracks in some software and mass delete all embedded image . Have a look at the source code you see "commits" aka someone is doing something ,usually Michael :) our hero. https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/commits/public/7.9 Or just keep an eye on the forum especially the beta section if issues are discussed . Personally I upgrade once a week or every two weeks , I used to do it daily . It has a point doing the upgrade often . I'm running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.0 - 1449829896 @ Fri Dec 11. Seems like there's an update available every day. Is there development work taking place? Yes, 7.9 is under +/- active development. It's a community build, not supported by Logitech (only sponsored - as I'm the main contributor :-)). I thought the Squeezebox was dead. The product is no longer marketed by Logitech, that's true. But there's still an active community here. Should I be downloading each update as it becomes available, or are these all the same files (just being archived with a new date)? Following your tips worked like a charm I think for me the key was that LMS was still looking at an old "iTunes Music Library.xml" (dated 2013) that was still handing around in my iTunes folder structure... Apple moved things around and changes, but they seem to do a poor job at cleaning up after themselves and I'm reluctant to delete things I'm not sure are still being used or not... Anyway, I'm now running LMS 7.9 and I got my Playlists back, my family thanks you as we can again play all of our Christmas collection playlists throughout the house on Squeezebox.
