Re: IRC Meetup logs up in the wiki

Sorry guys. In other news I've got some new exposed counters for squid-2 performance - will port to 3.1 and then submit for review. Also planning to extend cachemgr to output in xml as alternative, will allow far simpler processing and xsl transforms. Extended cacti monitoring of all relevant bits is in process and will be available soon. Regardt
Re: Introduction and new eCAP GZIP adapter
Constantin Rack wrote: Dear squid-dev members, my name is Constantin Rack and I would like to introduce myself as a new developer. I have over 10 years experience in C/C++ coding with strong focus to HTTP related software. As a "welcome gift", I have released a new open-source eCAP adapter for HTTP compression: http://www.vigos.com/products/eCAP/ I would like to maintain and further develop this adapter, hoping that it will be included in the official SQUID distribution some day. Please feel free to send me your suggestions and bug reports concerning the adapter. A happy 2009 everyone! Best Regards, Constantin Rack With a welcome gift like that I'm sure we're all eager to see whats next ;-) Welcome ;-)
Introductions
Hi Dev Team. My name is Regardt van de Vyver, a technology enthusiast who tinkers with squid on a regular basis. I've been involved in development for around 12 years and am an active participant on numerous open source projects. Right now I'm focussed on improving and extending performance metrics for squid, specifically related to SNMP and the cachemanager. I'd like to take a more active role in the coming year from a dev perspective and feel the 1st step here is to at least get my butt onto the dev mailing list ;-) I look forward to getting involved. Regards, Regardt van de Vyver
