We made it so that anyone can get through to the editor team, but you MUST include "XEP" in the message subject. This is explained on the editor page at xmpp.org. Hello I've tried (unsuccessfully) to mail the editor, and always get the response the message is held until the list moderator can review it for approval, based on the fact that "The message headers matched a filter rule".
