I assume you mean Tiny 1.1 rather than Tiny 1.2. Validating to the Tiny 1.1 DTD is an obvious first step, using any XML editing tool or validator. -- Chris Lilleymailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Chair, W3C SVG Working Group W3C Graphics Activity Lead - To unsubscribe send a message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -or- visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/svg-developers and click "edit my membership" Yahoo! RE: [svg-developers] SVG Tiny Validation
You should use a validating editor, such as XMLSpy, Oxygen, etc. You can find the dtd to validate against here: http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/ -Original Message- From: svg-developers@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Andrew Shouldice Sent: Monday, April 25, 2005 1:29 PM To: svg-developers@yahoogroups.com Subject: [svg-developers] SVG Tiny Validation Hi again. (Hopefully this question will be less specific, and will aid others out there struggling with the same issues.) I've been using the W3C SVG validator to tweak my XML (http://jiggles.w3.org/svgvalidator/), and I've got it to the point where it generates no errors. However, using a Blackberry emulator for testing results in a venerable slew of errors, and no actual rendering. It doesn't like font-size, nor does it like transform with a rotate. These things appear to be allowed, from what I read in the W3C specification, but the emulator (and the new Opera) will not render them. My question is this: Does there exist an SVG Tiny validator? Is there any fairly straightforward documentation on how to "translate" SVG to SVG-T?
