Maybe if the page were hosted under http://all-maps-from-openstreetmap-and-licensed-cc-by-sa.org/ it would be ok ;-) Or he could also use the browser status bar to display attribution without wasting space. Careful with the sarcastic responses. You're violating the terms of the OSM license with that page, in my opinion. Have you seen http://www.duif.net/osmfoutje/ as well? It is a prototype with similar functionality. It adds, among others, an RSS feed and the possibility to 'subscribe' to an area you know well and receive updates on annotations within that area. I like that idea very much. Keep up with annotations in your neighborhood from within Google Reader or whichever you prefer. It might be a good idea to consolidate the various 'annotation' web application efforts - I believe there are more of the floating around - into one system we could one day roll out as part of the main site. [OSM-talk] Template:Proposal_Page
All the feed back I have recieved from this mailing list in regards to http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Template:Proposal_Page and http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Proposal_Page_test have all been positive. Here are some features in the template that have been added to make the proposal prossess easier. - Easy-to-add template. - Up front info on the proposal page. - Auto categoring set by proposal status. (see test page) The only new value added to the Template:Proposal_Page compared to the Template:proposed_feature already used on the Proposed features page is the user value. This is to note who made the proposal. This will make adding the template to all the previous proposals simple by copy-n-paste and changing the template name. Thanks, and hope to implament this soon.___ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/talk
