Yes, the "Ignore" filter has been deleting mail since the 1.63betas. https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/bug_view_advanced_page.php?bug_id=0001680 -- Best regards, Hasse Current beta is 2.01.49 | "Using TBBETA" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Bug in Selective Download?
Hello tbbeta, Can anyone reproduce this problem. In Account Properties -> Mail management, make sure that "Delete recieved messages from server" is checked. Also set a short interval for periodical checking of the mailbox, to speed up the testing. Create a Selective Download filter with these settings: Detect by: Subject Signal strings: foo Action: Ignore Detection method: None of the strings should match Next, send two messages to the account, one with "foo" in the subject, and another with "bar" in the subject. Then wait for the next automatic checking of the mailbox and watch as the "foo" message is fetched. Confirm with the Mail Dispatcher that the "bar" message was left untouched on the server, and then close the Mail Dispatcher with the Escape key or the Close icon. Then wait for the next automatic checking of the mailbox. After the uneventful checking, use the Mail Dispatcher again to see what is on the server. Result: The "bar" message is gone. With 1.62r, this filter worked as expected. It would download and delete from the server the messages I wanted, and leave the rest alone. -- Regards Hasse The Bat! v1.63 Beta/11 Windows XP Home Current beta is 1.63b11 | "Using TBBETA" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
