would actually really want to use another e-mail program

Thanks, the problem has come back - not Outlook but Outofluck Express
 seems to keep grabbing it.

In the Control Panel is 'Internet Options'. That has the tab
'Programs'. Go there and look what's set as email program. I bet it's Outbook
 Perplex.

In my case it was Microsoft Office Outlook (not Express) but
unfortunately changing it via Control Panel doesn't fix things. Next
time Outlook is launched it re-instates itself as the default program
:-( . There doesn't seem to be anywhere in Outlook's Preferences to
disable this behaviour, at least that I can find. Manually setting
file associations in My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/FileTypes (WinXP
Home) also doesn't stick. Since I really need to use the Calendar
function in Outlook it looks like I'm stuck with resetting the Bat! as
my default on a regular basis.

well I had that problem at work, and it was fixed after setting the Mail

So there's still hope for you ;-)

I think it's a wrong bet. Going back to 3.99.3 will probably solve the
problem.

I just tried this, which now seems (crossing fingers) to be working.

After setting Bat! to associate with EML files in Explorer, go to the advanced
tab, and make sure open (without the ) is there.

YMMV, and mine as well!

I realize that it might be accepting defeat, but consider how often you
double click on a .EML file in Windows Explorer. If you never actually do
(I never do), you might just go to [Options | Preferences... |
Applications] in TB and uncheck .EML. Let LookOut Express have it!

two Bats running?

2007-09-01 Thread Peter Kerekes

Hello,

The Bat appears to be running OK, but when I open the Task Manager I see
two BAT icons running. If I End Task both icons disappear.

I did check, that by any chance I am running 2 Bats, but could not locate
it.

I wonder if anyone run into that, and how did it correct.

Than you
