Hi Robert, On Tuesday, October 11, 2005, [EMAIL PROTECTED] squawked back: Is there a way to add a prefix to a message subject line, when replying? RD I tried this, and it works. But I am not certain the modifyonce is RD needed. RD %MODIFYONCE(Subject)%- RD %subject=PreFix: %osubject Thank you! As Roelof suggested, maybe I should give it a little more time ( or should I... why not just install something that works out of the box)? But I will try some ham training as you suggest. Filter to Common folder
Hello, How do I create a filter that sends messages to a common folder Unread? They already go to the folder without a filter but are marked Read. Filters, Spam and Edits
Just in case I missed something, I'm wondering if there is a way to edit a received message Subject. I use SpamPal and it marks suspects with **SPAM** in the subject line. Sometimes the Bayesian filter is incorrect (we are both still learning) but when I move a clean email to an inbox it is forever branded SPAM. If I alter the tagline for spam in SpamPal options, I'm not sure the messages will be routed to the junk folder. I realize from reading some of the archives that editing a received message is for some reason controversial. But for cases like the one above, or when a sender neglects to put a subject line in; or in the message body when the formatting makes it difficult to read, it would be a great help to be able to edit. If there is now a way to do so I would be thrilled to learn how! Best wishes, -- Pat Newly registered! Problem with Reply Template
Hi all, I'm having trouble with a template for Reply while in The Bat folder. Nothing at all appears in the message section, even though the macros are in the template (in fact I copied them from anther folder). The template is pretty simple: %Cursor - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - On %ODateEn, %TIME, %OFROMADDR wrote: %Quotes -- %DATESHORT Any ideas why this wouldn't work in this one folder? The only difference between this folder's templates and the one I copied it from is that the New Message template in The Bat has a %FROM macro (which I just picked up from the list this morning!) Sorry if I have some of the terminology wrong. Definitely new to macros. I'm still test-driving TB and have learned a lot from this group.
