[Texascavers] EspeleoCoahuila 2008 article
The Fall 2008 (2nd year, 5th issue) of the new magazine Coahuila, Espejismo Pleno just came out, and has a one-page article by Monica Ponce on EspeleoCoahuila this past summer in Múzquiz. I have scanned it and turned it into a PDF, which Allan just placed on the EspeleoCoahuila web page at http://www.oztotl.com/ps/EC/EspeleoCoahuila%202008.pdf. Thanks for the link, Mike. Very nice photos and you have an excellent website. Well done! We mapped out the 2-3 neat little caves we had found, the largest being about 30m long (which we named Cherry) Some of those from the other teams will have to give a more detailed report on their finds (some of them were really cool). I've got photos from both days online at www.mpphoto.ws (Link is on the bottom) It rained almost every day but the mountains were absolutely beautiful and the views were fantastic! Not too bad for my first caving trip to Mexico. -Mike - Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: texascavers-unsubscr...@texascavers.com For additional commands, e-mail: texascavers-h...@texascavers.com - Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: texascavers-unsubscr...@texascavers.com For additional commands, e-mail: texascavers-h...@texascavers.com

[Texascavers] EspeleoCoahuila, July 3-6th
Does anyone have more details about EspeleoCoahuila? The web site (www.oztotl.com/ps/EC/EC2008.html) is a bit sparse on the meeting details. Since the first day will be spent attending talks and the next two days spent caving, we will have to spend the day on July 2nd driving down to Muzquiz (yes, it will take all day to drive from Dallas). Will it be difficult to find the event location (the Balneario La Cascada) in the evening? Any suggestions and meeting info will be most welcome, Diana * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Diana R.
