[Therion] Marked stations
As Marco already mentioned, it can be done after playing a little bit with symbol show/hide. Well, I needed to run therion in debugger to see, what is going on. The problem is, that there are multiple "attributes" and therion does support only hide show for single symbol type. Therefore, specification is tricky. But in your case, this is what you can use: symbol-hide group centerline symbol-show point cave-station symbol-show point station:painted symbol-show point station:fixed First line hides all centerline symbols from everywhere (stations and shots). Second tells therion, that you want to show stations in the cave. But in fact - point cave-station itself does not show any symbol. It only specifies, that stations in the cave should be shown. Therefore 3. and 4. lines are needed to specify, that you want painted and fixed stations to be shown. In fact, if you use symbol-hide group centerline, and want to show some station afterwards, you need to specify explicitely both, whether you want to show stations in cave or on surface and which kind of stations you want to show. You can use also symbol-show point station to show all kinds of stations. And now I am not sure, whether I understand my self ;) But at least, this configuration seems to work on my data sample. It would be great to have some kind of query language, show/hide/color symbols... HTH, S. -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Well, after trying to implement this feature I realized, that it already works, but it is missing in therion book. Try: color-legend on|off in your layout. I am sorry for that. S. [Therion] How can I obtain a userid for the Wiki ?
I know it is primitive but personally I don't like image capthas... Password is auto-generated (not visible during registration) and sent to e-mail address specified in the registration form - so you need to 1. enter valid email address & 2. have access to this mailbox to be able to login. Hopefully it will keep spambots away. L. 2012/10/24 Footleg > That registration worked for me, but the captcha text was displayed as > plain text. That registration worked for me, but the captcha text was displayed as plain text. I used Google Chrome browser. Just letting you know in case the plugin is not working as expected and you start getting Spam bot registrations due to being able to read the plain text captcha text. [Therion] How can I obtain a userid for the Wiki ?
Hi, because of some problems with spambots user registration was disabled some time ago. New registrations were so far handled by admins manually upon request. This week I enabled user registration again together with text captcha plugin and other precautions - you can register here http://therion.speleo.sk/wiki/doku.php?id=start&do=register L. 2012/10/24 Michael Wasmund > ** > Hello, > We'd like to add our cave to the list of "Therion Caves" in the Wiki. > How can I obtain a userid ? > > Greetings, > Michael > > > > ___ > Therion mailing list > Therion at speleo.sk > http://mailman.speleo.sk/mailman/listinfo/therion > > -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... [Therion] colour by map
thanks, i did not look in the source (thlayout.h): sorry, my fault. and can also color by the scraps. i rather use a feature (layout command) than a hack (inserted tex/mpost code). by the way, i wish color by survey date (topo-date) will be implemented soon. now i tried the layout command (5.3.10): had some problems. marco From: Martin Budaj To: List for Therion users Sent: Wednesday, October 24, 2012 4:15 PM Subject: Re: [Therion] colour by map In fact it's there, but in a form which is not easy to find using Ctrl+F colo[u]r-legend Martin On Wed, Oct 24, 2012 at 3:06 PM, Stacho Mudrak wrote: > Well, after trying to implement this feature I realized, that it already > works, but it is missing in therion book. > > Try: > > color-legend on|off > > in your layout. > > I am sorry for that. > > S. > > > On 23 October 2012 12:56, Marco Corvi wrote: >> >> hi bruce, >> >> not sure this answer your question. >> and it's a hack, thus not something that should be used. >> the real solution would be an implemented feature, as you asked. >> >> anyways, i switch off the color legend with >> code tex-map >> \colorlegendfalse >> endcode >> >> marco >> >> >> From: Bruce >> To: 'List for Therion users' >> Sent: Monday, October 22, 2012 1:56 AM >> Subject: Re: [Therion] colour by map >> >> >When you have coloured by map, in the header there Therion automatically >> adds a legend of what colours go with each map. ... >> >Is it possible to turn off the map colour legend without resorting to >> > code. >> >> >> Similar to my question re map-fg altitude >> http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.gis.therion/3259/match=legend+altitude >> >> Perhaps we could have a new option >> >> legend-map-fg [on|off] #with the (current) default as on. >> >> Bruce >> >> ___ >> Therion mailing list >> Therion at speleo.sk >> http://mailman.speleo.sk/mailman/listinfo/therion >> >> >> >> ___ >> Therion mailing list >> Therion at speleo.sk >> http://mailman.speleo.sk/mailman/listinfo/therion >> > > > ___ > Therion mailing list > Therion at speleo.sk > http://mailman.speleo.sk/mailman/listinfo/therion > ___ Therion mailing list Therion at speleo.sk http://mailman.speleo.sk/mailman/listinfo/therion -- next part -- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
