Just to clarify, "this" being the copying over of the newer files,
rather than running cavern with -v7.

It'd be really good to fix that in the next release. Meanwhile, if
anyone's building binary packages of therion, I'd encourage you to
update img.c and img.h like Wookey has.

Bruce asked off-list if there's a way to change how therion calls cavern
on Windows. I'm not an expert on the therion code, but it looks to me
like therion on Windows looks up the "Process" action for .svx files and
uses that, so if you can work out where to set that in Windows, you can
probably just add "-v7" to the command it uses. I'm afraid I have no
idea where this is configured on recent versions of Windows though.

Cheers,
Olly

I added Survex to PATH (in Windows control panel) and appended "-v7" to the
cavern-path variable in therion.ini. The warning "cannot open cavern output" is
now gone.

That's interesting, as Loch also uses wxWidgets, and the code in aven
and loch to toggle full screen mode is essentially the same.

The Windows build of Survex 1.2.7 was with wxWidgets 2.8.12 and 1.2.8
was with 2.9.5 (and 1.2.9 uses wxWidgets 3.0.0).

Do you know what version of wxWidgets therion is built with? It doesn't
seem to say on their website.

Olly
