 Think about the logic here: doing redirects requiring SSL in
 beforeRender() is too late, the action has already been executed.  Clearly
 this is more of an example of not understanding how things work.

 But if you insist that this is a bug, please reopen with a test case, and
 if possible, a patch that passes your test case without breaking existing
 cases.

 As I stated in the the comment when I TRIED to do it in beforeFilter which
 is where it probably should go, it would redirect endlessly until the
 apache software said the site was redirecting in a way that would never
 complete.  So how would YOU do it.

 _deleteLinks() only handles deletion of HABTM connections.  If you were to
 cascade at this point there is potential for unwanted data loss. For
 example deleting a post would delete all tags that were related to that
 post as well.

 Again, a loop is more likely a flaw in your logic, not a bug.  And since
 this is not a help desk but a bug reporting system, DO NOT open this
 ticket again unless you have proof of an actual bug in the form of a test

 Ok two different developers working on same thing screwed me up.  There
 wasn't a flaw in the logic.  I put the code in the beforeFilter and it
 would work properly as long as the action in question doesn't have any
 $this->requestActions in them to other controllers and actions on the
 view.  Which the view in question did, thus causing the looping.  Other
 developer didn't tell me that.
