[tw] Re: Firefox 3.0, NoScript add-in, and TiddlyWiki
That is a very good suggestion, especially as I have recently been carrying my TW between home and work on a USM memory stick. A central, web-based location for my TW files would make life simpler. I will look further into the possibilities of using tiddlyspot.com. Andrew On Aug 1, 12:38 pm, "M)" wrote: > Andrew Mc, have you thought of saving your file at tiddlyspot? Andrew Mc, have you thought of saving your file at tiddlyspot? You would then allow only tiddlyspot.com and wouldn't have to worry about file://. [tw] Re: Firefox 3.0, NoScript add-in, and TiddlyWiki
Yes, I do appreciate that fact William. :-) However, from a security point of view, I would rather not have to give permission so that any unspecified local 'file://' can run a script, but instead give permission to specific named files, like my TW files. I used to be able to do this somehow, but now cannot. I was wondering what I need to do so I am not asked for permission to run my local TW files, but are asked for permission for any other files (local or external). Um, TiddlyWiki IS a script so of course you will have to allow it to run to use it. [tw] Re: Firefox 3.0, NoScript add-in, and TiddlyWiki
Hi, I am using FF 3.5.1 with TW 2.5.2 and am having no problems with NoScript. I would advise getting the latest versions of all software and (temporariliy) allowing 'file://' in NoScript. This will allow Javascript to work. Lynn J. On Jul 29, 10:20 am, AndrewMc wrote: > Hi Everyone > > I am using TiddlyWiki 2.5.0 in Firefox 3.0.12 on Ubuntu 9.04.
