Re: Tomcat 3 and use of sessions

It's much the same as in Tomcat 5:

   HttpSession session = request.getSession(true);
   session.setAttribute("foo", "bar");

Folks,

Is there a way in Tomcat 3 , when embedded in an application, to create
a HttpSession programatically,
populate some session attributes and somehow have a client browser
participate in that session (using
the right URL for example).

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: We are stuck with using Tomcat 3 for reasons of supporting JDK1.1.
