Topband: YB0ARA/9 Card in Hand
Esteemed Reflectees: I received my YB0ARA card in the mail this afternoon from Art, N2AU. WOOHOO!!! I am extremely grateful to him for managing this since he is pretty much incapacitated these days. I know there are some of you still looking to confirm this one but PLEASE be patient with Art. It is very difficult for him to do a lot of the easy things like answering cards with his health problems. He is a good man and with a friendly reminder occasionally (but not too often), he will get one to you, eventually. 73de Goose _ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband
Re: Topband: YB0ARA/9 QSL
Thanks everybody for the input. I also took a chance and contacted Art again this morning. He is going to put a card in the mail to me next week. Must have just mislaid the one I sent back in 2007. Will let you all know when I receive it. 73...de Goose W8AV _ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband
Topband: Obtaining Topband QSL for YB0ARA/9
Since we are on the topic of trying to obtain QSL's for topband QSO's, I am wondering if anyone knows how I can go about obtaining a QSL card YB0ARA/9. I have sent N2AU a couple QSL cards to try to get this confirmed but know he has difficulties getting around these days. Can anyone suggest how I can get the card or help me obtain one? 73de Goose, W8AV _ Topband Reflector Archives - http://www.contesting.com/_topband
Re: Topband: PT0S summary
My thanks goes out to you, George, and the rest of the PT0S crew. I managed to log you guys on 160 for a new one and it never ceases to amaze me that wherever you go, George, I am always able to hear you and work you! Thanks for a great operation from "The Rocks". 73..de Goose, W8AV ___ Topband reflector - topband@contesting.com
Topband: Topband QSL Library
I know this is a bit out off the normal discussion topics on this reflector, but I need a bit of assistance here. Some of you may remember the Azimuth booth at Dayton a number of year back where they were selling a number of amateur radio related items including the Azimuth Awards QSL Library which was a small 3 ring binder that contained plastic pages for displaying your QSL cards. I want to make a display library for my 160 QSL cards and am looking for the inserts to put the cards in. Each insert page can hold up to 6 cards (displayed on the front and back of the page). I need somewhere around 50 of them to cover the cards I have now and for future cards that I obtain. If anyone has some of these that they would like to part with please let me know off list. Thanks and 73..de Goose, W8AV ___ UR RST IS ... ... ..9 QSB QSB - hw? BK
