 10.1.8.9 is out and we are good now. We'll pick that up in the next
 release and, meanwhile, Tor Browser users affected by this bug get the

 It's difficult to reproduce. Tor Browser 8.0a9 crashes while casually
 browsing on twitter then suddenly typing  a twitter url in the address bar
 (like twitter.com/torproject) then clicking enter.

 Seems to have only started to happen lately, maybe  a NoScript (10.1.8.7)
 related problem?
