[Bug 888627] Re: please backport pdns-recursor 3.3-2 from Precise

2011-11-11 Thread Evan Broder
We can still use dh(1) for debhelper 7.old; it's just the uglier and
less-intuitive form of dh(1).

Patch to convert to that syntax attached. I've uploaded a test build to
my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~broder/+archive/backports-tests).

2011-11-11 Thread Evan Broder
Ah, that didn't work - Hardy is older than I thought :)

Here's a new patch. Same deal - test build has been uploaded; keep an
eye on it.

2011-11-11 Thread Evan Broder
Ok, apparently quilt didn't work that way back then. So here's take 3.
This time I waited until the build finished, so I know that worked. All
it needs now is testing.

[Bug 858361] Re: Backport gedit-latex-plugin 3.3.1-1 from Precise to Oneiric

2011-11-11 Thread coxackie
Thanks for everyone who helped with this. It is greatly appreciated, as
I am using the plugin on a daily basis.

I am not sure whether this is the correct place to mention this, but I
noticed a very slight problem: the plugin uses gnome-open to view the
compiled tex file in pdf, ps, etc. Unfortunately, gnome-open is not
available in the standard ubuntu installation. It is not a big deal,
because I immediately installed from the terminal, but it would be nice
if it can be packed to install automatically. (Another option is to
change all the gnome-open instances in the plugin to evince, in
which case everything works as is.)

Thanks for testing, Imre.

ACK from backporters for Lucid, Maverick, Natty, and Oneiric while we
continue to work on what went wrong with Hardy.
