[Bug 1368094] Re: Please backport openjdk-8 8u66-b17-1 (universe) from wily
Is testing reverse dependencies really an issue here since the package uses both the alternatives system and virtuals? It can be installed parallel to OpenJDK 7 and if people run into issues they can just switch back to OpenJDK 7 via update-alternatives. Testing all the possible reverse dependencies probably impossible while this package is clearly needed by many. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Backporters, which is subscribed to trusty-backports. [Bug 1178999] [NEW] Please backport libmtp 1.1.5-42-g6e96316-1ubuntu1 (main) from raring
Public bug reported: Please backport libmtp 1.1.5-42-g6e96316-1ubuntu1 (main) from raring to precise, quantal. Reason for the backport: This will fix bug 1015010, ie. it will be possible to connect to a Samsung Galaxy S3 (in this case with a stock Vodafone firmware version 4.1.2). Testing: Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing. [Bug 1171372] [NEW] Please backport puppet 2.7.18-1ubuntu1.1 (main) from quantal-updates
Public bug reported: Please backport puppet 2.7.18-1ubuntu1.1 (main) from quantal-updates to precise. Reason for the backport: The more or less essential Puppet Module Tool was bundled with 2.7.14. At least puppet-common installs fine as long as you grab libshadow- ruby1.8 as well. http://docs.puppetlabs.com/puppet/2.7/reference/modules_installing.html Testing: Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing. [Bug 1168654] [NEW] Please backport dose3 3.0.2-3 (universe) from raring
Public bug reported: Please backport dose3 3.0.2-3 (universe) from raring to precise, quantal. Reason for the backport: I tried to install xserver-xorg-lts-quantal and apt tried to drop half my packages. Then I install the apt-cudf package from quantal and was able to solve this by using the aspcud solver. See bug 1134492 for details. I didn't try apt-cudf from raring but juding from the changelog it should run as well/even better due to improved multiarch support.
