2012-02-08 Thread Sulumar Dekay

He created so many contenttypes but nothing is documented.

I am Not Going to touch that site until i get some full doccumentation
or i tear it down and rebuild it from scratch

Good idea.. :) make sure it also looks how much we have in stock :) that
helps us to keep track of it :)
(I was thinking of using an existing cms for that, maybe something like
opencart or magento or something. Anyhow, if you're doing it it's your
choice :D If you'd rather write from scratch or use a drupal module, you
should do that! :D)

Re: [Ubuntu-be] New promotional material

2012-02-08 Thread Wouter Vandenneucker
in total I think we sold about +/- 150 (may vary 10).. So we definitively
made "profit" out of it :) (I mean that as in over break-even)

Thing is, we can still keep selling this ones.. Although we don't have all
sizes anymore..

When is the next IRC meeting? Next week?
Would it be possible to just include: FOSDEM, Promotion and 2 seconds about
Hasselt Dipro?

On the other hand, can we hold a seperate IRC meeting this week to talk
about our re-approval? It has to be done by the 16th of this month.. Is
somebody already working on that?
(I can't join Thursday, but any other day is okay..)

Making a new T Shirt design will certainly improve sales but have we
sold enough of the old ones to make money with that?

Where does one start though?

I really wish those USB sticks would take shape. Unfortunately I don't have
the expertise to contribute to the programming.

Not sure if t-shirts will work again until the first batch is worn out by
the people that wear them. It seems we reached our target potential if they
didn't sell again. Maybe if Canonical comes with a new theme again. As long
as the current ones aren't really outdated, many people won't replace their
old one.

Cheers,
Jan.

[Ubuntu-be] New promotional material

2012-02-08 Thread Ward De Ridder
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA1

Hello all,

Just to start to think about promotional material in time, here are
some ideas I had that could be great promotional material.

The first thing I was thinking about is beer glasses, at fosdem we
were next to the open suse stand where they sold beer, and they were
very popular because of that. That's why I came up with the idea of
beer glasses.
The advantage of beer glasses is that they can be reused, the beer is
gone once you drink it.

Another thing we are talking about for a long time now is usb keys.

And I think we should also make another t-shirt design for next year,
since this year we didn't sell that much t-shirts because it was the
same design as last year.

What do you think?
