[Bug 1103047] Re: mountall causes automatic mounting of gluster shares to fail

2013-03-14 Thread Clayton Kramer
Just had the same thing happen on a number of our 12.04.2 KVM guests.
The _netdev parameter is being ignored.

[Bug 1103047] Re: mountall causes automatic mounting of gluster shares to fail

2013-03-14 Thread Clayton Kramer
I had to comment out the gluster fstab entry to get these 12.04.2
machines to finish their boot. Mountall kept throwing an mountall event
failed before the system console was up. Adding and removing _netdev
from the /etc/fstab had no affect.

My workaround involved booting the KVMs on server ISO using recovery
mode. Edited the fstab and added gluster mount to the rc.local file.

sleep 3 mount.glusterfs [hostname]:/vol1 /mnt/glusterfs/vol1

[Bug 1100857] Re: Init script does not support status command

2013-01-26 Thread Clayton Kramer
Yes. I tested the new init from Raring and it works great. It would be
great if we could get this patch into LTS backports. Thanks!

[Bug 947950] Re: In dual monitor setup, mouse movements get resistance if the panel of the left monitor has to be traversed

2012-08-02 Thread Clayton Kramer
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 929991 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/929991

I am running with the launcher set to only load on one of my monitors.
Using meborc's settings helped make my multi-monitor desktop mouse
behave as expected. This is especially important when you are working
with windows close to the inner monitor edges.

[Bug 625511] Re: Obsolete quirk prevents multitouch module for eGalax touchscreen from working

2011-08-17 Thread Clayton Kramer
I'm having the same problem with my Latitude E6420. Single-touch works
with the quirks parameter but no multi-touch. I'm running x64 Natty with
the 2.6.38-10-generic kernel.
