[Bug 397744] Re: monodevelop debugger not working
I looked into this issue again and tried rebuilding the package mono- debugger_2.4.2-1 from source. This fixed the aforementioned problem i described in the original report. In addition i had to install the package mono-dbg_2.4+dfsg-5ubuntu1 to make the mono debugger work correctly on monodevelop. I can debug c# applications using monodevelop now. So this issue might be fixed by rebuilding the mono-debugger package and adding an additional package dependency to the mono-dbg package. -- monodevelop debugger not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/397744 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 407062] [NEW] gnome panel hanging for indefinite time after standby
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel In Ubuntu karmic, afterr putting the system into standby and powering up again, it can occur that the panel hangs for an indefinite time. This is: The icons in the notification area are not redrawn (but react normally) and menus do not open nor do starters react. After some time, the panel wakes up again, working on all the requests it got earlier. The attached screenshot shows the state where a wireless connection is established, but the NetworkManager icon is not redrawn. > This is not a translation issue. I have a complete French translation on my > computer and software-properties-kde appears partially in English. I don't mean to be rude, but are you 100% sure you are using it correctly? First of all the ubuntu the package is: language-pack-fr-base If you have that package installed REPLACE this file: /usr/share/locale-langpack/fr/LC_MESSAGES/software-properties.mo ..with your 100% translated file. It should be in .mo format (NOT .po). If you don't have a .mo file, you can choose "MO format" and download it from here: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/software-properties/+pots/software-properties/fr/+export Lastly, I was just checking out the translation status: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/karmic/+source/software-properties/+pots/software-properties As you can see in the attached screenshot, only 33% of the french translation is included (green colour), and about 44% is new and *not* packaged (purple colour). ** Attachment added: "fr_software-properties_status.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/29725211/fr_software-properties_status.png -- l10n broken in software-properties https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 385658] Re: Karmic doesn't boot up on Studio XPS 1340 with Nvidia Hybrid graphics
Fundamentally I think we have at least three separate bugs here. First, the lack of support for 0866 cards. There's several bug reports upstream about lacking support for 9400 cards, such as fdo #19545, however none mentioned 0866 specifically, so I've filed an upstream bug with this request: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23044 and subscribed Mario (Jerone, you'll need to subscribe yourself since you seem not to be already subscribed to the freedesktop.org bug tracker). Please follow up with upstream with any info or testing they need with this hardware. ** Bug watch added: freedesktop.org Bugzilla #23044 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23044 ** Changed in: xorg-server (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged ** Also affects: xorg-server via https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23044 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Karmic doesn't boot up on Studio XPS 1340 with Nvidia Hybrid graphics https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/385658 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Okay. If this is fixed in 1.6.3.3-2 in Karmic (which is the same source as 1.6.3.3-2~ppa1~intrepid), then this should still be “Fix Released”. This will probably only get fixed in Jaunty through a backport. https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages However, if you do manage to reproduce the problem in 1.6.3.3-2 (or 1.6.3.3-2~ppa1~*), please reopen again. ** Changed in: git-core (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- 'git pull' fails with "not uptodate.
