Well, now I have access via ssh to my notebook. [Bug 1085837] [NEW] [Asus K40AB] Resume from suspend to blank screen
Public bug reported: After suspend to RAM, while resume I receive black screen, and high-speed fans. Nothing works, system seems to be stacked, Ctrl+Alt+F2 doesn't work, no reaction for Caps/Scroll lock. Only magic keys works, or hard shutdown holding Power button. I use notebook Asus K40AB with 2 ATi videocards: integrated 3200 and discrete 4570. Bugs only appears when PowerXpress is on. If I put PowerXpress off and set dGPU - suspend works well. Using 3200 videocard for work (it's running X) and 4570 for some 3d (using DRI_PRIME). Setting OFF or ON at /sys/kernel/debug/vgaswitcheroo/switch doesn't make any changes. Ubuntu 12.10 with xorg-edgers/ppa (for xserver-xorg 1.13). Tried to use pf-kernel 3.6.7 and 3.6.8, but still have the problem. I think the problem is in GPU init, because without PowerXpress everything is fine. Using ubuntu 12.04 with ATi 4570 (AMD Catalyst 12.3 builded from *.run) and receive Smplayer error: mplayer: libmpcodecs/vf.c:283: vf_get_image: Assertion `h == -1 || h = vf-h' failed. MPlayer interrupted by signal 6 in module: decode_video ID_SIGNAL=6 Video set to vaapi.
