To clarify my above comment: the behavior is I'm describing is that you
may do some arbitrary amount of work (in my case, an hour or so) and
then find that you can't save your document. The error message is pretty
cryptic, so I had thought I was encountering a weird permissions issue
and eventually gave up after trying a few different locations. I
discovered too late that had I only saved it as a Microsoft Word
document instead of an Open Office Document it works (say it ain't so!
The MICROSOFT format works better?!). I have since set my default format
to Word and have not encountered this bug again. The DocX import was
flawless, by the way - I was mightily impressed.
Anyway, I would humbly suggest that we indicate in the error message
that one might try to save in a format OTHER than .ODT.
