[Bug 1480700] Re: iwl3945 on D830 crashes with Error sending C_POWER_TBL: time out after 500ms
I am not seeing the wlan failure under 4.2-rc7. However, I am now experiencing complete lockups of the system (2-3 seconds in duration) followed by a hardware reset. /var/log/messages doesn't show anything preceding the kernel start on reboot. I did not see the lockup issue with v4.0-vivid, (but wlan was still broken) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1480700 Title: iwl3945 on D830 crashes with Error sending C_POWER_TBL: time out after 500ms To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1480700/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I've finally had the opportunity to install a new kernel. I installed 4.2-rc7. Christopher Penalver, I had rolled back to an ubuntu kernel to get the nVidia driver (suspend/resume issues with nouveau) . I'm now in the process of installing the newest mainline you recommended to Edward. If I can reproduce under 4.2-rc4, I'll submit a new bug and subscribe you to it.
