[Bug 843373] Re: Dash button on a Launcher. How to return it back to top panel?
Adding to comment above, the "discoverable" point is totally clear, but making button at the top panel optional is pretty reasonable, it was comfortable, took less space (vertical space on display is "expensive") and it is actually more natural for Gnome 3 users. Let this big dash button in the side panel (as it is done right now) by default, but please give us an option to change this behavior. Actually, I don't understand why to take out "smart hide" feature of the side panel too.
