[Bug 205049] [NEW] Asus A6T does not have wired network,..
Public bug reported: When installing my ASUS A6T with Hardy Heron Beta 1 I noticed that my wired network didn't work, it detected the right hardware (Realtek RTL8111/8168B Pci Express Gigabit Ethernet controller rev01) and loaded the driver (r8169) but doesn't get an IP from DHCP. Also my graphics card is detected as (nVidia Corporation G70 [GeForce Go 7600] rev a1) but I don't see an option in the restriced drivers, the same for my wifi card wich is detected (Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [Airforce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless Lan Controller rev 02) but does not show in the restricted drivers, however when copying the firmware for this wifi card it just works. The sound on the A6T works but can't be changed in volume ! when trying to change it with the 'fn' buttons it shows on the screen but I can't change it. ** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Asus A6T does not have wired network,.. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205049 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
