[Bug 820492] Re: kworker/u:5: page allocation failure
I can not reproduce the bug with the updated kernel linux- image-2.6.38-13-generic. System did not come up with kernel 3.3, because AMD's proprietary display driver fglrx raised an error on loading the kernel module. Without fglrx module it booted up well without this kworker issue. ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-unable-to-test-upstream ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/820492 Title: kworker/u:5: page allocation failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/820492/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I expected finishing the transfer. 4) The file transfer window appears and after a few percent of progress, it stops copying. I can not close the window, because when I click the cancel button, it goes to gray and nothing happens after that, so I have to kill the nautilus process. When I had tried to copy the same directory again, it stopped at the same percent of progress. Copying the same directory in nautilus via SFTP works flawlessly. [Bug 490086] Re: audacious 2.2: mpeg plugin play-length calculation dont work
I can confirm this bug in v2.3 under ubuntu. A possible workaround is to turn on "Parse XING headers" option in MPEG Audio Plugin. On the other hand if you turn off the "Enable fast play-length calculation", length won't be displayed at all as described previously. I attached an audio file, so you can reproduce the bug. ** Attachment added: "It can produce the play-length problem." https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/audacious/+bug/490086/+attachment/1645691/+files/Maw%20Presents%20India%20-%20To%20Be%20In%20Love%20%28Knee%20Deep%20Re-Edit%29.mp3 -- audacious 2.2: mpeg plugin play-length calculation dont work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/490086 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 574693] [NEW] nautilus ftp file transfer hangs in lucid
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus 1) Description: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Release:10.04 2) nautilus version: 1:2.30.0-0ubuntu4 3) I tried to copy a directory with files from a server to my PC via FTP.
