[Bug 655124] Re: Network-manager-openvpn connects but can not be used
For me the problem also still exists with the package from maverick- proposed. After the import the LZO-Compression isn't enabled as it should like in the import file. -- Network-manager-openvpn connects but can not be used https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/655124 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 289147] Re: no application level connection
Booted the old kernel and upgraded the system, after that it worked also with the new 2.6.27 kernel. I'm just curious why such a bug made it to the 8.10 RC version. My laptop is an old ThinkPad X31 with well supported open source drivers. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: New => Invalid ** bug changed to question: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/49517 -- no application level connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 289147] [NEW] no application level connection
Public bug reported: I've upgraded from a up-to-date 8.04 version to 8.10. Now I can't establish a connection wether over wireless nor wired connection. But network manager tells me everything is ok. I also got an IP and NS from the DHCP. Pings to the internet are working. With applications like Firefox I can't establish a connection. Also a telnet-connection to port 25 doesn't work. See the attached strace. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- no application level connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/289147 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
