[Bug 204526] Re: [hardy] python-gmenu fails to upgrade - pycentral not overwriting files
I have two fully up-to-date systems (one 32 and one 64 bit), with the latest python-central. that's 0.6.1ubuntu1 both systems recently were hit by this resolved bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python-central/+bug/192992), maybe that is the origin of this problem? note that I don't have any custom python stuff installed, so the not overwriting error is bogus. furthermore, if this is a python-central bug, then so are bug #204524 and #204528 -- [hardy] python-gmenu fails to upgrade - pycentral not overwriting files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/204526 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I have the latest bios available and it has no option to turn on a memory gap. this is on an asus m2a-vm hdmi (http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3l2=101l3=496l4=0model=1585modelmenu=1) with an athlon 64 x2 5200+ [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ cat /proc/meminfo MemTotal: 3402328 kB MemFree: 2537992 kB Buffers: 27468 kB Cached: 560968 kB SwapCached: 4 kB Active: 455584 kB Inactive: 311568 kB SwapTotal: 7992328 kB SwapFree: 7992032 kB Dirty: 780 kB Writeback: 0 kB AnonPages: 178752 kB Mapped: 62772 kB Slab:49592 kB SReclaimable:32332 kB SUnreclaim: 17260 kB PageTables: 10600 kB NFS_Unstable:0 kB Bounce: 0 kB CommitLimit: 9693492 kB Committed_AS: 495252 kB VmallocTotal: 34359738367 kB VmallocUsed: 24684 kB VmallocChunk: 34359713663 kB [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ free -m total used free sharedbuffers cached Mem: 3322844 2478 0 26547 -/+ buffers/cache:269 3052 Swap: 7805 0 7804 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ uname -a Linux madkeunnen 2.6.22-14-server #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 22:09:15 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ -- Trouble viewing beyond 3GB of available 4GB memory using 64bit kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/114258 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 127428] Re: very inaccurate package description
current description: --- X.Org X server -- VIA display driver This driver for the X.Org X server (see xserver-xorg for a further description) provides support for various VIA UniChrome cards, among them: VT3122, VT7205, VT3108, VT3118, VT3344, VT3157, VT3230 and VT3343. This driver is originally shipped to be loaded as 'via' on xorg.conf, but this package renames it to 'unichrome', so it doesn't conflicts with the other VIA driver already available on Ubuntu. there is indeed no support for this chip in the unichrome driver. for feisty: please try the openchrome driver packages referenced at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video- unichrome/+bug/109626/comments/2 for gutsy: openchrome is available in universe. ** Summary changed: - xserver-xorg-video-unichrome + Unsupported chipset - VT3371 (P4M900) -- Unsupported chipset - VT3371 (P4M900) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/126074 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
