[Bug 178038] Re: npviewer.bin crashed with SIGSEGV
I'm experiencing this bug since my upgrade to 9.10 Karmic. There are lots of tabs and flash windows. The problem seems to occur when I close a tab. -- npviewer.bin crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178038 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 360803] Re: Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing
Here's the dpkg -l info. I think maybe the dialog is crashing- it pauses when I hit 'apply', and if I wait long enough before hitting 'OK' the dialog closes anyway. I've been seeing a lot of bad interactions between evolution and tracker, I'm afraid. laptop:~> dpkg -l | grep evolution ii evolution 2.26.0-0ubuntu4 groupware suite with mail client and organizer ii evolution-common 2.26.0-0ubuntu4 architecture independent files for Evolution ii evolution-data-server 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 evolution database backend server ii evolution-data-server-common 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 architecture independent files for Evolution Data Serve ii evolution-data-server-dbg 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 evolution database backend server with debugging symbol ii evolution-dbg 2.26.0-0ubuntu4 debugging symbols for Evolution ii evolution-documentation-en 2.26.0-0ubuntu4 documentation for Evolution rc evolution-exchange 2.24.3-0ubuntu1 Exchange plugin for the Evolution groupware suite ii evolution-indicator0.1.13-0ubuntu1 GNOME panel indicator applet for Evolution ii evolution-plugins 2.26.0-0ubuntu4 standard plugins for Evolution ii evolution-webcal 2.26.0-0ubuntu1 webcal: URL handler for GNOME and Evolution ii libebackend1.2-0 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Utility library for evolution data servers ii libebook1.2-9 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Client library for evolution address books ii libecal1.2-7 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Client library for evolution calendars ii libedata-book1.2-2 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Backend library for evolution address books ii libedata-cal1.2-6 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Backend library for evolution calendars ii libedataserver1.2-11 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 Utility library for evolution data servers ii libedataserverui1.2-8 2.26.0-0ubuntu2 GUI utility library for evolution data servers -- Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360803 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 360803] [NEW] Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing
Public bug reported: This bug is easy for me to demonstrate: open System/Preferences/Search and Indexing. The Tracker Preferences dialog appears. Select the Email tab and un-check the checkbox for email indexing. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'. Now re-open the dialog and again select the Email tab. The checkbox is still checked. laptop:~> dpkg -l | grep tracker ii libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - deskbar-ap ii libtracker-gtk00.6.92-1ubuntu2 GTK+ widgets for apps that use tracker ii libtrackerclient0 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - library ii tracker0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool ii tracker-search-tool0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - GNOME fron ii tracker-utils 0.6.92-1ubuntu2 metadata database, indexer and search tool - commandlin ** Affects: tracker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tracker preferences dialog fails to turn off email indexing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/360803 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Repeat of the same crash, this time shortly after a reboot. I'm running an up-to-date Jaunty release with tracker 0.6.90-1ubuntu2, and each time I reboot trackerd consumes all available memory for about a half hour.
