[Bug 737556] Re: WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.38/fs/inode.c:1401 iput_final+0x1d0/0x1e0()
Hi Christopher, Sorry that I didn't respond directly. Problem is that I don't know what the issue was at that time (it was just getting a message from apport, but there was nothing going wrong that I could experience). It was also with a beta version of 11.04. In the meantime I have 12.04 (without problems), and I am not able to test it at the moment in VirtualBox with the latest build. So you can certainly flag it as expired or not relevant anymore. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/737556 Title: WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.38/fs/inode.c:1401 iput_final+0x1d0/0x1e0() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/737556/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 734253] Re: very hard to distinguish/select text documents in the expose window spread
I want to confirm the need for this bug being solved and I completely agree with Bazon. At the moment it is really hard to navigate between multiple documents of the same application. And in my opinion, the easy navigation is really a basic functionality that should be implemented. I think maybe the easiest solution at the moment is that the text bar you get if you hover over with the mouse, is just always visible for all the documents, so you can see which documents are in open at a glance, and you do not have to hover over each document separately to see the document titles. [Bug 681348] Re: Add "show me the desktop" keyboard or Unity dock shortcut
Hello, I'm not a developer, but I'm using ubuntu for almost 5 years and I was very excited about the forthcoming new release with Unity, so I decided not to wait (and to contribute a very little bit) by testing it. And after a few days, one of my main problems/frustrations is indeed the missing of a 'show desktop'/'minimize all'- button, as outlined above. I am also user of the desktop for storing recent files , something I find very handy, because, till now, you could very quickly see and access them. I know there is already a shortcut with super-D, but I think that for a lot regular users you cannot rely on keyboard-shortcuts only, but that you also have to have a button-alternative. And maybe not really on topic, but to come back on the last post of mlaverdiere: I also experienced the same. I tried intuitively to click on the icon of an app in the sidebar to minimise it when that app was the active app. I noticed it didn't work like that, but that was what I intuitively thought and tried.
