[Bug 576524] Re: [lucid] thunderbird does not know what to do with a *.wav file
This is a major inconvenience for non technical users. Selecting "open" on an wav attachment only gives the option to "Save or cancel" Selecting "Edit -> Preferences -> Attachments" doesn't give any option to Add a Content Type. This is a regression from 1.x series. Please do *not* reply with "Just save it and play it from there" as the option to open Office, PDF and Jpg files directly. Yes that's it. Thanks very much. I'll see if I can update the documentation to reflect this. [Bug 488299] Re: Can't set Syntax Highlighting
I'm trying to set the syntax highlighting. Kate recognises xml and not XML and previously I was able to add the option for files with the extension XML but now there is no option. According to the Kate site the option should be there. ** Attachment added: "screen shot *not* showing option" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/36146166/bug488299.png -- Can't set Syntax Highlighting https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/488299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 223783] Re: SoX was compiled without MP3 encoding support
I think that the error message "SoX was compiled without MP3 encoding support" is misleading. It can convert from mp3 but not to mp3. If I run the command "sox x.mp3 y.mp3 tempo 1.5" it fails but the command "sox x.mp3 y.ogg tempo 1.5" works fine. So this issue is just related to writing mp3 files. -- SoX was compiled without MP3 encoding support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223783 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
