[Bug 1826736] [NEW] Gimp crashes after Batch processing
Public bug reported: Running Gimp under Ubuntu 19.04. I have installed gimp-plugin-registry and using David's Batch Processor to open a group of .gif files and export them as .png. After the conversion is complete, I hit the "Quit" button on David's Batch Processor - and get this crash: ``` GNU Image Manipulation Program version 2.10.8 git-describe: GIMP_2_10_6-294-ga967e8d2c2 C compiler: Using built-in specs. [Bug 1176509] Re: After update to 13.04 Brasero CD write hangs at "normalizing tracks"
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 374101 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/374101 By the way, I'm not saying the Duplicate status is wrong, but that other bug is over 4 years old, and was previously marked 'solved' and although a few people have noticed it has come back in Raring, nobody seems to be doing a thing to fix it. [Bug 1161599] Re: Backup to Ubuntu one failed, after 5 attempts status 400 bad request
Just to add I have been getting this bug since I updated to 13.04. Just did the install from "proposed" (hope I did it right) and testing now. ...it's also doing a restore test (I guess it's been a while)hmmm, looks like I forgot my passwordok, got the password, but it seems to not be moving forwardstill says verifying backup OK I got a pop up message saying "not all your files were backed up, please see log for details" but that went away and the main window of the backup app says "Backup Finished/Your files were successfully backed up and tested//home/kibi/.local/share/recently-used.xbel" That last is just an xml looking file with some recently used apps - not sure what that means So, in short, I think it's working but I'm not 100% sure. in the main Duplicity window it says my latest backup was today which is a good thing I think. Having tested, can I remove "proposed" from my sources, or will this cause a revert? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1161599 Title: Backup to Ubuntu one failed, after 5 attempts status 400 bad request To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/duplicity/+bug/1161599/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1176509] [NEW] After update to 13.04 Brasero CD write hangs at "normalizing tracks"
Public bug reported: I was previously able to burn a music CD, now that I have upgraded to 13.04 I cannot. I select tracks (they happen to be in OGG format) then press the button to burn. [Bug 998862] Re: [TECRA R850, Realtek ALC269VB, Mic, Internal] No sound captured at all
You know what Henry? I think I faked myself out - I am now unsure whether the pavucontrol did anything - here's what works for me: You know the Tecra has a single socket for headphone/microphone? I don't actually have a combined headphone /mic plug, but I often plug in my regular headphones. It seems when I plug in my regular headphones, the internal microphone starts working. Weird but I just checked it now and that seems to be what is happening. Firstly, this in no way removes this bug from being a bug - it's really weird behaviour - maybe you can see if it works the same for you. Secondly, the workaround isn't really a good workaround - if I want to have a Skype conference with my laptop I can't because in order for the mic to work I have to plug in the headphones which disables the speakers Sorry for getting your hopes up -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/998862 Title: [TECRA R850, Realtek ALC269VB, Mic, Internal] No sound captured at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/998862/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 998862] [NEW] [TECRA R850, Realtek ALC269VB, Mic, Internal] No sound captured at all
Public bug reported: This computer is running Precise 64 bit upgraded from Oneiric 64 bit. Sound was working fine until today 5/13/12 Updated with the latest updates and sound does not work. Computer is dual boot with Win 7, in Win 7 the microphone works fine, so I do not think it is a hardware problem Tried following instructions using alsamixer, unmuted mic - but it didn't help The maximum I get is a sort of hissing/white noise recorded No idea why this has stopped working. Skype does not capture sound, Sound recorder does not capture sound. Audacity does not capture anything but a faint hiss.
