[Bug 777425] Re: Menus unusable with gnome3 when windows maximised
Almost sure it's Gnome3 related - my workstation has XFCE installed and menus are working fine, while on my Gnome3 laptop I can't click anywhere. I've tried both OpenJDK and Sun's JDK and I've also tested other java IDEs, PyCharm for example - same issue... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/777425 Title: Menus unusable with gnome3 when windows maximised -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 351186] Re: [ubuntu 9.04] slow unminimizing with ati card and desktop effects enabled
I can confirm the bug on my ASUS pro55 (ATI HD3470 512MB video) I can also confirm that patching xorg-server fixed the issue for me (since I'm not using composite and such stuff I don't care in particular what else happens) I'm also attaching lspci --vvnn's output.. ** Attachment added: lspci.txt http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26829992/lspci.txt -- [ubuntu 9.04] slow unminimizing with ati card and desktop effects enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/351186 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 286828] Re: CIFS share broken after upgrade from 8.04 - 8.10
Noticed that keeping the old kernels is generally a good idea... After lots of headaches I've just rebooted and ran the 2.6.24-21.43 kernel and my work smb shares worked just fine... Re: [Bug 89860] Re: /proc/acpi/button/lid/*/state always says open
I'm sorry, but at this moment it's not possible to get back on my HP 530c, because I gave it to my mom, and I am abroad currently. Although when I get back home I'll test it ASAP, and I also think to install testing Itrepid on my new MSI laptop (which I'm buying next week). So far I haven't saw any links or etc. to download any testing release, so I think I should install 8.04-stable and enable the testing updates, right? Or, maybe, I should ask the #ubuntu-testing at freenode?
