[Bug 1767302] Re: User is not added to kvm group when installing gnome-boxes
I've just installed gnome boxes into a virtual machine and checked by groups both before and after, and I'm not a member of the kvm group, despite being in the sudo group. I can't do much more testing right now, but from my understanding of the issue when I raised it about 6 months ago, my guess would be that the logic isn't working. I had to manually add myself to the kvm group to make gnome-boxes work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1767302 Title: User is not added to kvm group when installing gnome-boxes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-boxes/+bug/1767302/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1108695] [NEW] When dpkg-exec runs during an upgrade and requires user interaction, nothing is done to make the user aware of this.
Public bug reported: I am running Raring, and this morning (29-01-2013) I noticed that upgrades on my PCs for libc6 required user interaction, asking to restart services without asking, during the dpkg-exec stage. The update manager would just sit in the background, stuck on that stage, until I expanded the details box and answered the questions within. [Bug 1054282] Re: No obvious way to restrict shopping suggestions from displaying adult products
#21 I disagree! It's entirely possible for an operating system to include pretty good parental controls. If you take a look at the ones on Mac, as soon as they're enabled, *no* web browser can access anything which is considered to be adult. Is the dash not just a glorified web browser in this sense? [Bug 1056970] [NEW] Since the introduction of the close button when Scale is toggled (super+w), the animation is slow on two monitors. One is fine.
Public bug reported: Scale was recently updated to include a close button per window. If I run with two monitors, there is a definite slow down of the Scale animation as I open more windows. Note, these windows could be as simple as a terminal or gedit, it seems that number is important, not size or detail. [Bug 1016423] [NEW] FORMAT option should be removed from mounted devices on the launcher
Public bug reported: It is way too simple to "format" a mounted usb drive from the launcher. At the moment the right click options contain Open, Format and Eject in that order. I believe that format should be removed as it is way too easy to click by mistake; it sits inbetween two of the most common actions which means it's very easy to click by mistake when clicking either of the other two menu items. I have just tested it, however, and it hasn't done anything, so I guess that's a bug in itself. I also feel it might be pertinant to rename it to something like "wipe data" as "format" isn't a very well known phrase amongst new users.
