Daniel, I have had my phone connected several times now, for differing number of times - 1 hour to over night and it appears that every time I go to log in there are no issues with a lag anymore. [Bug 1909732] Re: Gnome Shell freezes for 2 minutes on unlock when mobile phone is connected (log shows gvfsd PTP errors)
Hi - the issue has not happened again, I have not had the phone connected to laptop as often. FYI - I do not, as far as I am aware, have any extensions running. But I have run the 2nd command as instructed - is it also worth running the following? gsettings set org.gnome.shell.extensions.desktop-icons show-mount false Thank you for your help! This may now be resolved - not sure if a bug or not! Would be good if these changes were not required though. [Bug 1909732] Re: unable to login to desktop manager after suspend
Hi Daniel - unplugging the phone has proven to resolve the problem. I have had to use the laptop to charge the phone on my trip hence this never showing up as an issue before - I have set show-mounts to false also and will see if this fixes it with the phone connected... or are the two situations not related?? On this occurring today again I checked the crash log as recommended, no new files had been created - however, the issue may not be crashing - I entered my password and the system halts / freezes. [Bug 1384741] Re: Lenovo X1 TouchPad intermittent/corrupt
Thanks for looking in to this - please note however that about 3 weeks ago I noticed that the touchpad had got a lot better (I'd been using a mouse since the issue). checking again today - it seems to be fine, so not sure if a kernel update or other has fixed the issue. Have a great Christmas! ** Attachment added: "synclient-setting.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1384741/+attachment/4286486/+files/synclient-setting.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1384741 Title: Lenovo X1 TouchPad intermittent/corrupt To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-synaptics/+bug/1384741/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1096851] [NEW] CTH-470 unable to configure Express Buttons
Public bug reported: After plugging in Wacom CTH-470, which is auto recognised and appears in the System Settings - Wacom Settings. There are no options to configure the Express Buttons - the dialog screen is empty. It would be great to be able to configure a button as the toggle for the TouchPad - this does look possible within KDE (however the button config which is configurable does not work). [Bug 396268] Re: Banshee uses too much CPU
After news that Banshee will be default for 11.04, I installed and began enjoying the app. However, within a few hours I've run into this bug. Turning off most of the extensions does seem to help it for me, but what a let down. It's hard for me to nail down which extension is giving me the most grief. My system is an Acer Aspire 7736 w/ 4 GB of RAM, a dual-core 2.2 Ghz Intel chip, and plenty of HD space. I do have a large music library, clocking in at around 12-13,000 tracks (~80 GB). -- Banshee uses too much CPU https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/396268 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 658322] [NEW] 10.10 no sound hda-intel realtek 888 acer aspire 7736z
Public bug reported: On upgrade to 10.10, I completely lost sound. This happened with 10.04 as well, but at that time there were newer ALSA drivers that mostly fixed the problem. This time, the drivers seem to already be the newest, but still no sound. I've used Synaptic to try to reinstall all my sound components, but they all seem up to date.
