[Bug 479844] Re: resolution 1280 768 not available cannot update with xrandr
[QUOTE]xrandr: cannot find mode 1024×768[/QUOTE] I see a lot of people are having trouble with this. In Linux capitalization is VERY important. Here you guys did not capitalize your the "X" in your resolution. Once you capitalize your "X" you should be good. Here is an example of what worked for me. [code]xrandr --output VGA1 --mode 1024x768 --rate 60[/code] -- resolution 1280 768 not available cannot update with xrandr https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/479844 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 604835] [NEW] Broadcom STA Wireless driver for bcm4322 disconnects frequently on certain networks
Public bug reported: My problem is very similar to Broadcom STA Wireless driver for bcm4322 silently disconnects frequently with a few key differences. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/488340 The first key difference is it does not happen silently. I am told when it happens. The second key difference is it only happens on certain networks. I am usually fine except when I use a few particular networks. I get knocked off the network very frequently and it is quite annoying. I have confirmed with the admins there is nothing on wrong on their end. They are very confident that it has something to do with my wireless driver. My connection also does not reconnect unless I do it myself. I am using Linux Mint 9 Isadora on a dell laditude d520. Linux Mint uses the same repository as Ubuntu. This is the package that I am using. http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/bcmwl-kernel-source ** Affects: bcmwl (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Broadcom STA Wireless driver for bcm4322 disconnects frequently on certain networks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/604835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 586703] [NEW] crontab Problems
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: vlc I have 3 video's I'm trying to play as a playlist at 8 am. I've checked in the terminal and as a regular script that this works fine. Right now I'm just trying to get it working so I'm using wildcards for the time and day. I tried it with sourcing and without sourcing in the crontab. Then I tried to run it as a regular script with no luck. I've checked that my script runs fine in the terminal. I also did this with sourcing and without sourcing. I really don't understand what I'm doing wrong so any help would be appreciated.
