[Bug 727074] Re: setting Edge Trigger Delay is ineffective on Desktop Wall Edge Flipping
Why is this still noit fixed?!?? Why does it take so long to fix such a stuff in Linux...its so frustrating! Does noone here test software before a release? Dumb question, I know as its obviously...however, to be a bit productive: @johann-glaser This has nothing to do with the "wall"-plugin...the wall- plugin is inactive here on Mint Mate, so it cant have any effect to edit the wall.xml as read somewhere before. "rotate" is a different plugin. There are 2 options in my opinion: Some of the coders here have to add an "edge_flip_delay" to the plugin "(cube)rotate", or option 2 - some of the coders here have to make "edge_flip" in "rotate" to work with "edge_delay" in general-settings. [Bug 1587741] [NEW] Spatialite-gui causes system lockup in Lubuntu
Public bug reported: Spatialite-gui version 2.0.0, is available from the DebianGIS repositories. The application works as expected in Ubuntu and Xubuntu 16.04 (in Virtualbox VM's). However in Lubuntu 16.04, whenever trying to resize the window, the system becomes unresponsive and locks up. A hard reset is required to reboot the VM. It is possible to minimize, then restore the Spatialite-gui window without problem, but every attempt to maximize or resize (by dragging corners) causes the lockup. The developer of Spatialte suggests: "cause should be possibly related to a buggish porting of wxGTK3" This issue is specific to Lubuntu: the same application on Debian, Fedora, and other versions of Ubuntu 16.04 do not have the problem. micha@lubuntu-16:~$ lsb_release -rd Description:Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Release: 16.04 micha@lubuntu-16:~$ apt-cache policy spatialite-gui spatialite-gui: Installed: 2.0.0~devel2-2 Candidate: 2.0.0~devel2-2 Version table: *** 2.0.0~devel2-2 500 500 http://il.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: 16.04 lubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1587741 Title: Spatialite-gui causes system lockup in Lubuntu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1587741/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1547235] Re: x1250 rs600m graphical corruption
Yes, I know, it´s impossible to play any game since this damn driver- situation changed. And I am about to sell this (still great) laptop, too...but this could be no solution. What will happen is, that the poor buyers sitting in 4 weeks here, where we are now. However, I am getting more and more tired with this shit-situation...and that bugreports here ´expire´ (even if the problems are still exist) or someone again and again setting reports to ´incomplete´ does not make this feeling better - so please Mr Penalver, tell me why you set this to ´incomplete´ again and what information is missing, that I can give them to you asap -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1547235 Title: x1250 rs600m graphical corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/1547235/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Btw, why do you report marked this as incomplete? What is now still missing? [Bug 1547235] [NEW] x1250 rs600m graphical corruption
Public bug reported: Further informations are known by x threads all around the net since 2011 - there is a problem with the free Radeon-driver and the x1250 rs600m-graphic card! It does not only affect Ubuntu, it also affects Debian or Mint (which I prefer to use). Ubuntu itself has graphical corruptions on the Unity-desktop directly after installation...simply look all the pics around the net (or into the attachment). Same corruptions on Ubuntu-games (Teeworld for example) as in Mint and so on - it is no Ubuntu- or Mesaproblem, there definately must be a bug or problem with the free driver in my opinion. (dear mr Penalver - now you have another report (you can mark as a duplicate...I still do not know how this report here should make any difference to all the existing ones)), for the case that all the reports around the internet since 2011 are not enough. I do not know what a repository-kernel is, I simply installed the daily build of Ubuntu some days ago - if it is REALLY (!) neccessary to try around with any repos-kernel (what I do not believe), pls give me informations how to do that) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.04 Package: linux-image-4.4.0-2-generic 4.4.0-2.16 [modified: boot/vmlinuz-4.4.0-2-generic] ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.4.0-2.16-generic 4.4.0 Uname: Linux 4.4.0-2-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.19.4-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 AudioDevicesInUse: USERPID ACCESS COMMAND /dev/snd/controlC0: m 1199 F pulseaudio CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Thu Feb 18 22:40:06 2016 HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=1a9cc3e7-ec1c-4f67-95c9-f96d010b2a7a InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-02-10 (8 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Alpha amd64 (20160210) MachineType: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD. Why? Why are you setting the statut here to ´new´?!? T his problem here is unsolved since 2011, still the same graphical corruptions! For what do you need a new report from me??? HERE are...10? people all complaining the same, without solutionsince 2011! And you say, it helps "immensely" if I file a new report (again)? [Bug 1492580] Re: Display corruption
Its a pure Horror herethere are massive problems with this goddamn X1250 around all distros - and noone is able to fix this shit in all that time RGHH! I posted X reports by myself in the last months/years - here, Mint, Debian, I´ve written Emails to ~20 persons involved in the driver- development - and nothing helpsthe bugtrackers in Ubuntu, Mint, Linux are so unbelievebale senseless and such a waste of time.when should the problem being fixed? 2048? Its simply a joke whats going on here...! But to make you happy and troll not around all the time, I try the fucking link noweven if I already know that it does NOT help - and this damn problem is NOT Mesa-related - its a bug in the damn free community-Radeon driver. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1492580 Title: Display corruption To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/1492580/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Another waste of time *lol* - this bug (in the Radeon driver in my opinion!!!) will never being fixed! I´ll talk about that since years! As said, waste of timehow many new bugreports do they need to fix that damn bug? 500? Buy such a fu... laptop on Ebay and watch it yourself instead of asking the users again and again and again and again for new reports...sooner ore later all of them disappear unfixedits only frustrating whats going on here - X1250 is not fully compatible with the free Radeon-driver or in other words the driver has bugs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy such a goddamn Laptop (Samsung R40 for example) by yourself and simply fix the Radeon-driver instead of talking here the next years or users learnt C and so on and fixed it by theirself in the meanwhile! Re: [Bug 1434826] Re: Strange artifacts on top of the Unity
Hi, but I do not want to install Ubuntu again only for a bugreport which eventually is not even possible cause Ubuntu was almost unusable with these defect graphics/desktop - Mint is working almost except gaming, all Ubuntu-distros I tried were defect directy after install and first startup with these graphical problems and almost unusable - and I do not want to delete my almost working Mate now only for a bugreport... Thanks anyway, but the problem the x1250 have is definately not Ubuntu-related, every distro I tried has problems - it must be a mesa / ati-driver problem or something else, not distro-specific. [Bug 1381638] Re: [Utopic] Wacom stylus button does not work
I managed to find the reason for the buttons not working: the Wacom option 'tabletpcbutton', which used to be 'off', is now 'on' by default. This can be changed manually e.g. with 'xsetwacom', but is reset to 'on' after reboot. I think it would be better if the default was still 'off' as it used to be, otherwise the buttons only work when the stylus is touching the screen and not when hovering, which is less useful and unexpected behavior when upgrading from a previous version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1381638 Title: [Utopic] Wacom stylus button does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xf86-input-wacom/+bug/1381638/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1291890] [NEW] Add Lenovo ThinkPad OneLink GigaLAN USB ID to ax88179 driver
Public bug reported: Many new Thinkpad laptops have a dock (Thinkpad OneLink Dock) containing a usb ethernet chip that is supported by the ax88179 driver. However its USB ID is not included in the driver shipped with the 3.13 kernel used in Trusty. A patch to add this ID has been sent to the LKML (see https://lkml.org/lkml/2014/2/24/649 ) and it would be very convenient for all users of the dock if it could be applied to the Trusty kernel.
