I have recorded a small video to show the performance with the live beta (also updating an existing installation). Performance in 13.04 are not exiting because of my hardware, but it works great. Now is really inusable. In my case (eMachines eM355 detected: IntelĀ® IGD) integrated graphics on atom N455. Some panels are too lighter, for example i can't see the white text on the shutdown/restart panel. Public bug reported: I have installed Ubuntu 12.10 x64 on my desktop with GeForce 8500GT. I have some lags using nouveau, so i have decided to install the package using the tool 'software sources' (but is the same with apt-get command). After the reboot, the video server does not work anymore, fortunately removing the package from the console restore the situation. Installing the package 'linux-headers-generic' and then the driver package again, all works fine. I suggest to add the package 'linux-headers-generic' as dependence to solve the problem.
