[Bug 1051646] [NEW] Printer stops printing too early; doesn't print full document
Public bug reported: After some update on Precise (?july / august) our printer stopped printing normally and stopped priniting before the page was fully printed. Now, one has to pull the paper from the printer because it does not go out normally. The printer starts blinking and needs to be switched off and back on to continue printing something else. Last few rows (of text) are not printed - it is not dependent on the document size: when I remove last few rows - it still quits sooner than necessary. The test page also didn't print well - attaching the log. Tried to change some of the parameters (bottom margin, shift output) but with no luck. Again - the printer used to work fine - until some *** update came in. ** Affects: cups (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1051646 Title: Printer stops printing too early; doesn't print full document To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/1051646/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

May be, Till. I've got an HP DeskJet 710C for parallel port connected to USB via the Prolific adapter (067b:2305 - the same you mentioned earlier). Hello, I don't have the hardware, on which the bug had arisen, it broke down, so I won't be able to test it. [Bug 222131] [NEW] cannot detect CD-ROM when installing from AlternateCD...
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: debian-installer When installing on an old computer with Celeron 300A, PC Chips 726, P6BXT-A+ mainboard and 192 MB RAM, installation program fails to detect normal IDE CD-ROM - Nec CDR-1300, 6x speed. CD-ROM is connected as a secondary slave, this happens in (K)Ubuntu 7.10, Xubuntu 7.10, Kubuntu 8.04. I downloaded the driver - "NEC_IDE.SYS" and offered it to the installer, but the installer did not like it... ** Affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- cannot detect CD-ROM when installing from AlternateCD... https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/222131 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
