[Bug 725987] [NEW] animated icons show multiple frames at once
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kpackagekit Animated icons in "progress" windows, such as progress of installation or removing packages, don't clean their background up after each frame, but they simply overlay previous frame with the new one. This results in a mixture of all frames beneath and correctly moving animation on top. It looks like somebody by mistake checked the "combine" option in gimp. Version of KPackageKit: 0.6.2-0ubuntu1 (but this bug appeared in older versions as well) Version of Ubuntu: 10.10 Maverick ** Affects: kpackagekit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/725987 Title: animated icons show multiple frames at once -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 354860] Re: kbluetooth4 crashed with SIGSEGV in _start()

[Bug 368977] Re: System print config "forgets" printer status / settings on reboot
I have the same problem on Lucid: when I install cups, I can print, add printers etc.. However, after reboot nothing works, even the "add printer" dialog in system settings is broken (impossible to add printer). The only thing I can do is to REINSTALL CUPS and other cups-related packages via synaptic. I hope it will be fixed soon, because now non-admin users can't use printer at all. -- System print config "forgets" printer status / settings on reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368977 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kubuntu-meta in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 581157] Re: Ubuntu 10.4 drops to a BusyBox / Initramfs shell - WON'T BOOT UP AT ALL
Hi, I have the same problem too, and I DID NOT use Wubi or anything else, I've just installed some updates for my Kubuntu 10.04 (including some kernel updates) and after shutdown I was unable to boot again due to this error. I didn't get any info about the bug at all. I'm really disappointed (note that I've just migrated to Kubuntu from Mandriva) and I seriously think about changing OS again, because Kubuntu is full of bugs these days (before this issue I've noticed some other bugs such as not-working logout, sleep mode and hibernation mode, broken main KDE menu editor, some bugs in package manager etc.). Now I hope I'll find at least one properly working distro. -- Ubuntu 10.4 drops to a BusyBox / Initramfs shell - WON'T BOOT UP AT ALL https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/581157 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
