Thanks again for the info. I will try the DAO function and is that doesn't
work, it must be the burner. I've had it for years, but it's probably

Hello,

Thanks for your prompt response and analysis.

I will try getting some DVD-R instead of +R and see if that works.
The burner is about eight years old, it has been great, maybe it's finally
giving out.

[Bug 791028] [NEW] Audio Cd's are not automaticaaly identified

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I am not certain that this problem is a bug, but previous versions of
rhyhmnbox had cd Identification, and this latest version does not. If it
is not a bug, it certainly is an oversight. This is supposed to be a
media player. I have not heard of a program that does not automatically
have this feature in it I don't want to jump through hoops trying to
find the correct plug-in. If i wanted to do that, I'd use Windows !!
