UPower is reporting, that my system is able to suspend and hibernate:

I have the same problem on my laptop. "Suspend" and "Hibernate" menu
options after upgrade disappeared.

I think, the problem is due to the /usr/lib/upower/upowerd. It's
failling to start.

Problem is with libpurple's default client key. It looks like it's
blocked now by ICQ servers. If you changed it to for example client key
used by pidgin it will be working again.
