[Bug 1762084] Re: Touchpad right-click is not working

2018-04-12 Thread Tim Merrison
I have upgraded two notebooks (Asus UX360U and Jumper EZBook 3 Pro) and
both now suffer from this issue (but in both cases two-finger tap still
works).

Re: [Bug 444392] Re: suspend failure with card in card Ricoh Co Ltd R5C822 reader

2010-02-16 Thread Tim Merrison
Colin,

I have tested the (corrected) proposed change: MODULES="sdhci_pci sdhci
ricoh_mmc ", and have found it to work on my Toshiba Portege M750 with
Ubuntu 9.10. Many thanks!

Regards,
Tim

P.S. I tried Ubuntu 10.04 beta 2 on the same notebook and suspend failed in
the same way. I have not tried the above fix yet.

[Bug 444392] Re: [TOSHIBA PORTEGE M750] suspend failure when running VirtualBox Windows 7 guest

2009-11-04 Thread Tim Merrison
It has since become apparent that I misinterpreted this bug as relating
to VirtualBox with Win7 guest (as the apparent common factor) when it
now appears that the cause related to the presence of a memory card in
the card reader. When no card was present, suspend and resume were fine
(even with VirtualBox VMs running).

[Bug 444392] [NEW] [TOSHIBA PORTEGE M750] suspend failure when running VirtualBox Windows 7 guest

2009-10-06 Thread Tim Merrison
Public bug reported:

Notebook locks up when trying to suspend. Seems only to occur when there
is a VirtualBox Windows 7 Enterprise x64 guest, suspend/resume is
otherwise fine, even when running Windows XP guest.

ProblemType: KernelOops
Annotation: This occured during a previous suspend and prevented it from
resuming properly.
